Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) and the Centre for Effective Global action have partnered to gather lessons from around the non profit and social business world, and have consolidated this information into a free toolkit for evaluating social impact. They liken the struggle many organizations face in implementing new monitoring and evaluation strategies to Goldilocks and the Three Bears – sometimes it takes a while to find the system that is ‘just right’.
We can relate. Working with many non profits and small businesses, we know how daunting it can be to invest precious time and resources into program evaluation. The Goldilocks Toolkit provides an excellent overview of evaluating social impact, designed to help you find that perfect fit.

I still remember sitting in Wychwood pub at the corner of St. Clair West and Bathurst last December, catching up with Rob for the first time in a few years. We talked about our past in non-profit, our goals and aspirations, and Colombia. Slowly the stars began to align and by the second pint we had all but shaken hands on our new partnership.
